Aseem Merchant was involved in a controversy when he started a project of making a film with Priyanka Chopra’s ex-manager Prakash Jaju to take revenge from Priyanka as she ditched him after getting popularity. The movie was supposed to be a biopic of Prakash Jaju’s life titled “67 Days”. After he announced the project Priyanka Chopra threatened to drag him and her manager to the court if this film was made.
Immediately after her threat, the idea of making the movie was stalled. After that Aseem stated in media that he was not trying to malign Priyanka Chopra through this movie, as she was the nicest person he ever met in his life.
