Bill Nye or William Sanford Nye is an American who is a popular mechanical engineer, science communicator, and television presenter by profession. He is popularly known for being the host of the popular science television show named Bill Nye the Science Guy.
He is also popularly known for his appearance in the popular Netflix show titled Bill Nye Saves the World and for his several appearances in media as a science educator. He is also known for his invention of the hydraulic resonance suppressor tube.

Born on 27 November 1955, Bill Nye’s age is 66 years as of 2021. He was born and raised in a well-settled Christian family from Washington D.C., United States. He is an American by nationality and has his belief in the Christianity religion.
He completed his early schooling at Lafayette Elementary School, Alice Deal Junior High School, and Sidwell Friends School in Washington DC, United States.
After that, he enrolled himself at the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Cornell University from where he completed his graduation with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. Since childhood, he has had an interest in science which was deepened when he took an astronomy class with popular American astronomer and planetary scientist Carl Sagan.
