Kidman was born to Australian parents while they were temporarily in the United States with student visas. The ancestry of Kidman can be termed as a mixture of Scottish and Irish. Though she was born in the United States, Nicole was brought back to Australia and raised in Sydney, Australia.
Nicole Kidman attained Lane Cove Public School and then North Sydney Girls’ High School. Kidman had the acting skills ingrained in her, which she showed right from her primary school days, which also continued in her high school. She has been a ballet student since she was 3 years of age. Nicole Kidman was a student of the Philip Street Theatre in Sydney where she studied along with Naomi Watts.
