Siddhartha’s acting career began with the popular Sony TV show “Babul Ka Angana Chootey Na” in 2008. He was seen playing the role of “Shubh Ranwat”. He has been the part of many Indian fiction serials namely Jaane Pehchaane Se, Ye Ajnabi, Pavitra Rishta, Love U Zindagi, and more.
He rose to popularity from Balika Vadhu in 2012 when he was selected for the role of Shivraj Shekhar. He gained a lot of popularity and fan following after Balika Vadhu. Later, he made his reality shows debut by appearing in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6 aired on Colors TV.
Siddhartha’s first movie was Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, where he got the role of Angad Bedi. He gave an outstanding performance. His fine acting also led him to achieve the best male supporter’s award in the 2015 stardust awards.

Controversies
Siddhartha Shukla was accused of driving after drinking alcohol in 2014. He was caught by the police in the middle of the road on New Year. He had to pay Rs 2,000 as fine. Besides, his driving license got terminated for 2 months.
Once again, Shukla was caught and arrested by the Mumbai police in 2018 for high-speed driving. Siddhartha was rash driving and hit a divider in Mumbai. He was then arrested by the Mumbai police. He was charged Rs 5,000 as a penalty and was given bail.
When he was shooting for Balika Vadhu, he was not in good terms with the co-actor Shashank Vyas.
Siddhartha was also indulged in a bad fight with Toral Rasputra. He had gone to Kashmir with the Balika Vadhu crew for shooting the honeymoon phase. However, the two actors argued and got engaged in a fight. The actors did not talk to each other after completing the sequel and returning to Mumbai.
During his spell in Dil Se Dil Tak, he was criticized by one of the co-actors of the show. According to Kunal Verma, Siddhartha was an unprofessional actor. Not only did he abuse Kunal but throw water at him.
Sid refused to continue shooting for Dil Se Dil Tak serial as he was unhappy about the fact that Rashami was given a bigger vanity van.
Siddhartha Shukla is often criticized for coming late to the sets for shooting. Besides, his weird demands and bad behavior often gets him into trouble and controversies.
