Susan Wojcicki or Susan Diane Wojcicki is an American-Polish business executive, who is better known as the CEO of the world’s largest streaming platform, Youtube. She has been in the industry of technology for over 20 years. She was referred to as “the most important person in advertising”. Furthermore, she was also named as one of Time’s 100 most influential people in 2015. Later on, in another issue of Time Wojcicki was also referred to as “the most powerful woman on the Internet.”
Wojcicki is also known as the founding member of Google, who was there when the search engine came into being and was appointed as the first marketing manager of Google in 1999.
Eventually, she also chose to lead the online advertising business of Google, which she was trusted with along with the handling and management of the original video service of Google.
As soon as she observed the success of YouTube, Wojcicki insisted on an acquisition of YouTube by Google, which happened in 2006. She had served as the CEO of YouTube since 2014. Susan Wojcicki was a U.S. citizen and eventually got Polish citizenship too.

Susan Wojcicki was born on July 5, 1968, and is currently 53 years old, Santa Clara County, California, U.S. Susan Wojcicki was born to a well-educated family. Her parents were of Jewish and Polish American descent. Susan was born at Stanford University campus and grew up on the university campus itself where she had enjoyed the company of George Dantzig, who was her neighbor.
She went to the Gunn High School in Palo Alto, California, where she was regularly engaged in writing for the school newspaper. She opted for humanities major in her college and received her first computer science class when she was already a senior. Wojcicki then joined Harvard University and studied history and literature there. She completed her graduation with honors in 1990.
