Caitlyn Jenner or Caitlyn Marie Jenner or William Bruce Jenner is an American who is a famous retired decathlete who won an Olympic gold medal and is a famous media personality by profession. Jenner entered the decathlon after being persuaded to do so by Olympic decathlete Jack Parker’s coach, L. D. Weldon.
He had a six-year career in the decathlon, culminating in winning the men’s decathlon event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, setting a third consecutive world record, and gaining notoriety as “an all-American hero.”
