Apart from these, he is also the founder of PayPal, X.com, and The Boring Company. He has also co-founded some famous companies titled Zip2, OpenAI, and Newralink. He joined Tesla Motors, Inc. (now Tesla, Inc.) in the year 2004 as chairman and product architect, eventually becoming CEO in the year 2008.
